Mercury-free thermometer, contains an alloy of gallium, indium and tin called Galinstane (non-poisonous and environmentally friendly).

• Before proceeding to measure the temperature, check whether the liquid column is below the first numbered notch.
• Position the thermometer on the body according to the type of measurement desired (axillary, rectal, oral).
• After about 4 minutes, the thermometer detected the body temperature.
• After the measurement, the indicator liquid must be brought back below 36 degrees. To do this, grasp the upper end of the thermometer with your index finger and thumb and shake it with about 15-20 quick wrist movements.
