Aciclin labialis is indicated for the local treatment of herpes simplex virus infections of the lips in adults and adolescents over 12 years of age.
Active ingredient
Aciclinlabiale Cutaneous Pencil contains: Aciclovir 50 mg
Excipients
Liquid paraffin, soft white paraffin, solid paraffin, beeswax, white ceresin, Arlacel 582, sodium hyaluronate, allantoin, dl-alpha-tocopheryl acetate, propyl-para-hydroxybenzoate, butylhydroxytoluene, purified water, disodium edetate, vanilla aroma, sweet aroma.
How to use
Adults and adolescents over 12 years of age: 5 times a day at intervals of about 4 hours, omitting the night application. It is particularly important to start treatment of recurrent episodes during the prodrome phase or at the first appearance of lesions. Treatment should continue for at least 5 days and up to a maximum of 10 if there is no healing. The medicine should be applied directly to the lesions without using hand contact.
Children under the age of 12: The safety and efficacy of the medicine have not been studied in patients under the age of 12.
