Emergency contraceptive to be taken within 120 hours (5 days) of unprotected sexual intercourse or if other contraceptive methods have failed.

For example:

  • if you have had unprotected sexual intercourse;
  • if your or your partner's condom has broken or slipped off or has come out, or if you have forgotten to use it;
  • if you have not taken the contraceptive pill according to the instructions.

Dosage

Take no later than 120 hours (5 days) after unprotected sexual intercourse.

The tablet can be taken at any time during the menstrual cycle.

Suitable for any woman of childbearing age, including adolescents.

No differences in safety or efficacy have been observed compared to adult women aged 18 years and over.

Oral use.

The tablet can be taken with or without food.

What It Contains

  • The active substance is ulipristal acetate. Each tablet contains 30 milligrams of ulipristal acetate.
  • The other ingredients are lactose monohydrate, povidone, croscarmellose sodium, magnesium stearate.
