Cetirizine Mylan is an antihistamine based on cetirizine dihydrochloride, indicated in adults and children from 6 years of age for the treatment of the symptoms of seasonal and perennial allergic rhinitis and for the symptomatic treatment of chronic idiopathic urticaria.</ p>
Dosage
Children aged 6 to 12 years: 5 mg twice daily (half a tablet twice daily).
Adults and children over 12 years of age: 10 mg once a day (one tablet).
Elderly people: data do not suggest the need to reduce the dose in elderly people with normal renal function.
The use of the film-coated tablet formulation is not recommended in children under 6 years of age, because this formulation does not allow adequate dose adaptation.
