Viscoflu is indicated in the treatment of respiratory tract diseases characterized by thick and viscous hypersecretion such as acute bronchitis, chronic bronchitis, pulmonary emphysema, mucoviscidosis, bronchiectasis, rhinosinusitis, mediosecretory otitis.
Components
N-acetylcysteine (300 mg), Sodium chloride (150 mg).
Excipients
sodium hydroxide, sodium edetate, water for injections.
How to use
The solution can be:
- Nebulized with aerosol devices to be inhaled in order to reach the bronchial district.
- Directly instilled for nasal and ear washing.
- Endobronchial instilled through permanent tubes, bronchoscope, etc.
