Food supplement based on lactoferrin, a glycoprotein derived from milk able to bind and transport iron.
In addition to its bactericidal and bacteriostatic action, lactoferrin has antiviral properties as it blocks the replication of the pathogen. It also stimulates the growth of bifidobacteria, natural killer cells, promotes the activity of neutrophils and modulates the activity of inflammatory cytokines.
