Food for Special Medical Purposes (AFMS) indicated in case of hyperhomocysteinemia resulting from a Genetic Deficiency of the Enzyme Methylene-Tetrahydrofolatoreductase (MTHFR), also known as Genetic Polymorphism of Folic Acid. With Vitamins B2, B6, B12 and Zinc, enzymatic cofactors that enhance the activity of L-5-Methylfolate in controlling hyperhomocysteinemia.
