Medication based on sodium alginate and sodium bicarbonate, indicated to provide rapid relief from the symptoms of occasional heartburn. It forms a protective barrier that floats on the contents of the stomach, hindering their ascent into the esophagus.
Components
One tablet contains: sodium alginate 250 mg; sodium bicarbonate 133.5 mg.
Ingredients
Mannitol (E421), calcium carbonate, magnesium stearate, copovidone, aspartame (E951), acesulfame potassium, macrogol 20,000, mint flavouring.
How to use
Adults and adolescents (12-18 years): 2-4 tablets of 250 mg + 133.5 mg after meals and at bedtime. The tablets must be chewed well.
