Drug indicated to give rapid relief from the symptoms of gastroesophageal reflux.
It can also be used during pregnancy and breastfeeding. The product contains sodium alginate which forms a protective barrier over the stomach contents when it comes into contact with the acids contained therein.
This barrier physically prevents the stomach contents from rising into the esophagus and therefore the product is not absorbed into the bloodstream.
Active ingredients
Sodium alginate 500 mg, sodium bicarbonate 213 mg and calcium carbonate 325 mg.
Excipients
Carbomer 974P, Methyl parahydroxybenzoate (E218), Propyl parahydroxybenzoate (E216), Saccharin sodium, Mint flavour, Sodium hydroxide, Purified water.
How to use
Adults and children 12 years and older: 10-20 ml (1 to 2 sachets) after meals and in the evening before going to bed, up to four times a day.
Children under 12 years of age: should only be administered on the advice of a doctor.
