Nexium Control is an esomeprazole-based drug indicated in adults for the short-term treatment of gastro-oesophageal reflux symptoms and at the same time, allows esophageal tissues damaged by reflux to heal, avoiding further damage.
It is also useful for reducing the risk of ulcers in those taking NSAIDs and, in combination with other drugs, to treat or prevent the reappearance of ulcers caused by Helicobacter pylori. Duration of effect 24 hours.
Active ingredients
Each tablet: Esomeprazole (as Magnesium Trihydrate) 20 mg.
Excipients
Glycerol monostearate 40-55, Hyprolose, Hypromellose, Iron oxide (red-brown) (E 172), Iron oxide (yellow) (E 172), Magnesium stearate, Methacrylic acid copolymerized ethyl acrylate (1:1) dispersion at 30 %, Microcrystalline cellulose, Synthetic paraffin, Macrogol 6000, Polysorbate 80, 13 Crospovidone (Type A), Sodium stearyl fumarate, Sugar spheres (sucrose), Talc, Titanium dioxide (E 171), Triethyl citrate.
How to use
The recommended dose is 20 mg of esomeprazole (one tablet) per day.
