Dulcolax 5 mg 20 coated tablets

Dulcolax Compresse is a laxative indicated in cases of occasional constipation.

It promotes intestinal peristalsis, accelerating the transit of feces and promoting evacuation.

Taken in the evening, it takes effect in about 12 hours. Taken in the morning on an empty stomach, it takes effect in approximately 6 hours and is suitable for adults and children aged 2 years and older.

It should be used during pregnancy and breastfeeding only if necessary and under the direct supervision of a doctor.

Active ingredients

One coated tablet contains: bisacodyl 5 mg.

Excipients

Lactose monohydrate, sucrose, castor oil, corn starch, soluble starch, glycerol, magnesium stearate, talc, gum arabic, titanium dioxide (E171), methacrylic acid/methyl methacrylate copolymer (1:1), methacrylic acid/ methyl methacrylate copolymer (1:2), macrogol 6000, iron oxide (E172), white wax, carnauba wax, shellac.

How to use

Adults: 1-2 coated tablets per day.

Children over 10 years: 1-2 coated tablets per day.

Children aged between 2 and 10 years: 1 coated tablet per day.

Children aged 10 years and younger with chronic or persistent dryness should take Dulcolax only after consulting their doctor.

Dulcolax should not be used in children under two years of age.
