Enantyum 10 sachets 25 mg granules oral solution

Enantyum, based on dexketoprofen trometamol, is indicated for the short-term symptomatic treatment of pain of mild to moderate intensity, such as musculoskeletal pain, painful menstruation (dysmenorrhea), toothache, headache.

Active ingredient

Each sachet of Enantyum Oral Solution contains: 25 mg of Dexketoprofen as dexketoprofen trometamol.

Excipients

Ammonium glycyrrhizinate, neoesperidin-dihydrocalcone, methyl parahydroxybenzoate (E-128), sodium saccharin, sucrose, macrogol 400, lemon flavor, povidone K-90, disodium phosphate anhydrous, sodium dihydrogen phosphate dihydrate, purified water.

How to use

The contents of the sachet should be dissolved in a glass of water, mixing well to facilitate complete dissolution. The concomitant administration of food delays the rate of absorption of the drug, so in case of acute pain it is recommended to administer the drug at least 15 minutes before meals.

The dose of Enantyum you need depends on the type, intensity and duration of the pain.

Adults over 18 years of age: the recommended dose is generally 1 sachet (25 mg dexketoprofen) every 8 hours, and no more than 3 sachets per day (75 mg). See your doctor if you feel no better or feel worse after 3-4 days. Your doctor will indicate how many sachets per day to take.

For elderly patients or if you suffer from kidney or liver disease, start treatment with a total daily dose of no more than 2 sachets (50 mg dexketoprofen). In elderly patients the starting dose may later be increased to that generally recommended (75 mg dexketoprofen) if Enantyum has been well tolerated.

If the pain is intense and you want to get faster relief, take the sachets on an empty stomach (at least 30 minutes before meals), as this will facilitate absorption.

Children and adolescents: The medicine should not be used in children and adolescents (under 18 years of age).

The oral solution can be taken directly from the sachet or, if you prefer, you can dissolve the entire contents in a glass of water. Once the sachet has been opened, take all the contents.
