Enantyum 25 mg oral solution 10 sachets

Enantyum 25 mg oral solution based on dexketoprofen trometamol, belongs to the group of medicines called non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) indicated for the short-term symptomatic treatment of pain of mild to moderate intensity, such as musculoskeletal pain , painful menstruation (dysmenorrhea), toothache, headache.

Composition

Ammonium glycyrrhizinate. Neohesperidin-dihydrochalcone. Methyl parahydroxybenzoate. Sodium saccharin. Sucrose. Macrogol 400. Lemon flavour. Povidone K-90. Disodium phosphate anhydrous. Sodium dihydrogen phosphate dihydrate. Purified water.

How to use

The oral solution should be taken directly from the sachet or after mixing the entire contents in a glass of water. . The concomitant administration of food delays the speed of absorption of the drug, therefore in case of acute pain it is recommended to administer the drug at least 15 minutes before meals.

Adults. Depending on the nature and intensity of the pain, the recommended dose is generally 12.5 mg every 4-6 hours or 25 mg every 8 hours. The total daily dose should not exceed 75 mg.

Seniors. In elderly patients it is recommended to start therapy at the lower limit of the dosage range (50 mg total daily dose). The dosage can be increased to reach that used for the general population only after good general tolerability has been established. This medicine should not be used in patients with severe hepatic impairment.

This medicine should not be used in children and adolescents as its safety has not been studied.
