Zirtec is a drug indicated for adults and children aged 6 years and older in the treatment of nasal and ocular symptoms of seasonal and perennial allergic rhinitis and chronic idiopathic urticaria.
Active ingredients
Cetirizine dihydrochloride 10 mg. EXCIPIENTS: Microcrystalline cellulose, lactose monohydrate, colloidal anhydrous silica, magnesium stearate, opadry Y-1-7000 consisting of: hydroxypropyl methylcellulose (E 464), titanium dioxide (E 171), macrogol 400.
Dosage
Children aged 6 to 12 years: 5 mg twice daily (half a tablet twice daily).
Adults and adolescents aged 12 years and over: 10 mg once daily (1 tablet).
